Cooranbong Gardens was envisioned as a boutique, master planned retirement village combining independent living villas, landscaped surroundings, and a feature Community Centre offering amenities like a café and bar, library, gym, sauna, indoor pool, and social spaces. The brief called for a living environment that felt welcoming, secure and future-ready, with electrical and lighting systems that support safety, comfort and ease of use for residents of all abilities, including lower-level lighting for accessibility and automation where helpful.
The complexity was clear from the start: 110 accessible dwellings across six different villa types (two and three bedroom, single and semi-detached), varying home layouts, and a central Community Centre with diverse uses. This required us to deliver tailored electrical solutions throughout; from premium switch plate finishes (we used Clipsal Prestige series plates throughout, per the client’s request) to custom lighting plans and automatic lighting sensors strategically placed to maximise safety and convenience.
