Bondi Beach Apartments

The Campbell Parade development is a boutique multi-dwelling residential and commercial project located on an iconic corner overlooking Bondi Beach. The building comprises seven luxury apartments and two ground-floor retail spaces, seamlessly integrating heritage architecture with modern coastal design. The development pays tribute to the site’s historical significance, formerly home to Bates Milk Bar, while introducing contemporary elements that reflect the lifestyle and aesthetic of its beachside setting. Designed to provide a refined, resort-style living experience, each apartment features spacious layouts, premium finishes, and a strong connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. The project required careful coordination to balance design elegance, technological innovation, and functional requirements, all within a tightly constrained urban footprint. The development delivers a harmonious mix of public interaction through retail activation and private sanctuary through elevated residential living.

Crown Electrical Solutions was contracted to deliver the automation integration for both the apartments and base building systems. Our scope included smart home automation for lighting, HVAC, intercom, and access control in each apartment via Control4 systems. We provided full building-wide networking infrastructure, Wi-Fi, CCTV, intercom, and access control system with biometric fingerprint functionality. Our team managed the installation, programming, commissioning, and system integration, ensuring seamless control via touchscreens and mobile apps. Crown also delivered custom data rack solutions and adapted to space constraints with slimline designs. We collaborated closely with other contractors to ensure all technologies worked harmoniously, while maintaining the architectural integrity of the development. Our contribution supported the client’s vision of a secure, luxurious, and technology-enhanced living environment.
